DEVELOPED CONTROLS REAFFIRMS CREDENTIALS WITH SAFECONTRACTOR

Developed Controls has once again undertaken and successfully completed its annual audit with SAFEContractor.

Our H&S and compliance manager said “Accreditation from SAFEContractor gives us the confidence that all aspects of our business are highly rated, and provides our clients with the guarantee that Developed Controls are the BMS company of choice when it comes to safety”

BCIA ACCREDITATION

Developed Controls has successfully completed its application to become a member of the Building Controls Association Industry (BCIA).

As a London based specialised building management system company, our work spans across London, the Home Counties, and the South of England.

BCIA is the UK's leading trade organisation for building controls and BEMS sector; the BCIA works with other organisations and institutions such as BESA, ECA, CIBSE, BIFM, FETA along with various other organisations and.

ONE SIGHT SOLUTIONS PARTNERSHIP

We are pleased to announce we have agreed a partnership with One Sight Solutions. Our partnership enables Developed Controls to source Tridium products at competitive prices as well as other IO modules and engineer training. The partnership agreement with One Sight Solutions is a valuable addition to our existing supplier partnerships.

15 & 21 DAVIES STREET

September provided Developed Controls Ltd with an opportunity to impress a new client following the request to attend 2 sites in Central London where they had been let down by their previous BMS provider. The issues being experienced on the Tridium R2 system on site by our client, Cooltech, were successfully identified and resolved by our experienced engineers which prompted our client to award us the BMS maintenance contract. 15 & 21 Davies Street are a mix of Residential and Commercial spaces where we will now provide our on-going support to maintain and upgrade the system. 

WALT DISNEY HAMMERSMITH

Developed Controls Ltd are pleased to announce that, following a successful first year providing BMS Service support to Walt Disney Hammersmith, our client Optimum have chosen to renew the contract. This will allow Developed Controls Ltd to continue to provide our BMS service and maintenance expertise to site and also to continue to support and assist our clients in their continuing upgrade projects. During our first year we have delivered 4 improvement projects with ROI time frames of less than 18 Months, all of which are currently on course and monitored via our monthly analysis.

AMERICAN EXPRESS TELECOMS HOUSE

Following a successful tender process Developed Controls Ltd has secured the project works relating to BMS upgrades at American Express Telecoms House located in Brighton. The scope of work surrounding this project include BMS controller upgrades, additional IO monitoring and graphics package renewal. This project also represents the first working relationship with Arthur McKay Ltd.

HATCH END HIGH SCHOOL

We have recently been successful in securing the BMS maintenance contract at Hatch End High School, London Borough Of Harrow. The School BMS system comprises of 4 No. packaged boiler rooms each containing a Honeywell Hawk Controller and IO plus two main plant rooms within the school grounds. As part of the proposal Developed Controls Ltd will also assist the school with plant maintenance such as Filter Changes.

NATIONAL PHYSICAL LABORATORY

Following a valued enquiry from SSE we have begun work on building a purpose built MCC panel to be installed on site at National Physical laboratory. The MCC will comprise of Honeywell Hawk Control gear used to control the newly installed water tank, associated pumps and filters. Our experianced engineers will design the software and commission the project before demonstrating the complete project to NPL and SSE representatives. Our panel will be integrated into the existing BMS system on site to give the end user complete control of the new system.

HEND HOUSE MAINTENANCE

We have recently been successful in securing the BMS maintenance contract at Hend House, London Shaftesbury Avenue. Following on from an initial Energy survey we highlighted a number of energy saving recommendations which, along with our client Optimum, we are implementing over the coming months for a complete project return on Investment of less than 9 Months. 

SAFECONTRACTOR APPROVAL

Developed Controls are proud to announce that we have been awared SAFEcontractor accreditation for our commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety.

Safecontractor is a leading third party accreditation scheme which recognizes very high standards in health and safety management amongst UK contractors.

The company’s application for Safecontractor accreditation was driven by the need for a uniform standard across the business.

We will continue to be committed to Health & Safety excellence.

NATIONAL BLOOD WEEK

Developed Controls is proud to be supporting National Blood Week. As part of National Blood Week, NHS Blood and Transplant have launched a campaign to get more people to give blood. They need over 204,000 new donors to come forward to replace people who can’t donate anymore and to make sure we have the right mix of blood groups. We Have lost our A's O's and B's in support. TRAINING COURSE

Developed Controls has just hosted a Training Course for GSH (ISS) Controls & Energy Division's Centered around providing their experienced engineers with Niagara & Tridium AX knowledge.

Developed Controls Training showed each of the attendees the Basics of Niagara and how to setup a AX Jace from scratch as well as the knowledge base needed to allow the engineers to Service and Commission any future Tridium AX projects they may encounter.

MERLIN DATACENTRE

Developed Controls has been successful following a bidding process to win the contract to design and create the software project for Merlin Data center as well as commission the BMS panels on site. Merlin Data center is one of the largest data centers of its kind and contains a bespoke cooling system with two main kiosk plants controlling the break water tanks to utilize the cooling capacity. It is made up of 23 Control Panels each containing a Tridium Jace. Commissioning is due to start early November with a project completion date of Late February 2015.
